The location was excellent and the facility was in excellent condition and very clean. Our room was very good and no complaints. However, the resort charge for older people is a ripoff as we did not participate in any of the activities or facilities. There should be an option for this. The complimentary coffee was okay if you are a coffee drinker but we are not and the pastries were not first class as I would have expected better pastries in a facility like the Ryder.

Its a pretty property. Staff was nice but didnt follow through on our request for a hairdryer But would recommend hotel.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a valet. Our room was ready early and we were given a welcome cocktail! The new renovations are very pretty and the whole aesthetic is awesome. The on site pool side “Little Palm Bar” is so fun and the location is perfect for exploring downtown Charleston. I can’t say enough about the service during our stay! It was above and beyond!
