We really enjoyed our stay at the Palmetto, especially thanks to all their small, unique touches of hospitality. From the welcome cocktail at check in to the daily weather reports and carafe of fresh water left in our room each night, we felt very well taken care of throughout our stay.

The Palmetto is great if you want to be in the heart of the French Quarter. However, there can be lots of outside noise as well as thin walls which means ear plugs are a must. Also, breakfast was not great. I did lots of walking and so more protein would have been nice to start the day. There are other options near the hotel though. I appreciate the great staff but will pick another property in the future.
