Are you looking for the perfect getaway? Picture yourself in a cozy Appalachian style log cabin. The soft breeze blowing through the trees while you're swinging on the porch swing sipping iced tea. The views from the porch and windows are of evergreens, hardwoods and the enchanting Smoky Mountains. You have all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. You have a jacuzzi, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bath w/shower, washer & dryer, central heat & air and Weber charcoal grill. You can even nap in the hammock nestled in the trees. The 'tree house' cabin has earned its name because it feels like you are literally in a treehouse when you are rocking or swinging on the covered porch. You are surrounded by nature at its finest. Peaceful hideaway
The owner made us feel right at home with easy check in, check out, all amenities we wanted. She called to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Loved the screened in porch, rockers, and porch swing. It was especially relaxing as we listened to the rain on the tin roof. Very clean. Would recommend for couples or small family.

Nice spot, the wooded view was nice.
Stayed with my husband for two nights a few weeks ago, as we love Townsend and the quiet - while being a short ride to restaurants and activities. I’ll start with the pros: 1. Host was very nice, accommodating and thoughtful in communications. Can’t speak to her friendliness highly enough! 2. It’s relatively quiet and pretty peaceful. 3. The jacuzzi tub inside is nice and gets very warm. 4. Property inside is clean. 5. Kitchen had most necessities. 6. Cable/satellite was appreciated. The cons: 1. This is a mostly wooded view. You can see a bit of mountain if you lean on the porch. It’s nice for a wooded view but I did expect more Mountain View. 2. The furnishings both inside and out could use some updating. The beds are very firm. We tried both. 3. Your neighbors are close. I would not call this spot secluded… we had to close 2/3 of the curtains because we had a very clear view of the other cabins/homes. For the price and great location, it’s worth it. Just know it’s an older more rustic cabin, not exactly secluded, and you won’t really have the gorgeous mountain view. We still had a nice time and would recommend for anyone who is looking to be close to the mountains.

Peace, Quiet, and Comfort
This little treehouse was so comfortable and quiet! Perfect for just sitting and relaxing on the porch. The bed and couches were comfy and easy to nap in! If you're looking for things to do, it is extremely close to Tuckaleechee Caverns and Cade's Cove.

Wonderful!!
Very highly recommend. We enjoyed our stay so much! The cottage was extremely clean and very cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked. Melody, our host, even called and offered to leave the porch light on for us if we arrived after dark. The area is beautiful without any traffic so it was really nice sitting on the swing or in the rocking chairs on the back deck. We will definitely be staying here again!

Lovely Weekend Getaway
What a lovely place to spend a weekend! The "Treehouse" was the perfect cabin. Nestled on a beautiful property surrounded by mountain views, this was the perfect place to unwind. The luxury style whirlpool tub was such a nice touch as well. The property has other cabins yet, they were spaced apart from one another. This allowed us to feel like the place was all our own. Located close enough to town that you can still run out and not take all day getting there. If you are looking for a place to unwind and relax, just book this place now. You're welcome!
