I booked this room for a work trip in which I needed access to internet from the room to work. During my stay, I was not able to gain access to the internet as promised to complete my work. Due to this, I lost not only the money spent for the room, but a week's pay by not being able to complete my job as needed.
As for the room, listing stated linens provided, but yet the bed included a fitted sheet, blanket, pillow cases but no flat sheet. When I contacted the Host, they informed me that a flat sheet is not included in the linen. This is a petty complaint per se, but for the Host to state that a reasonable expectation for any service that provides a bed is seen as unnecessary speaks to the Host's concern about its guests.
The Host did not perform as stated and the company that allows the Host to operate in this manner seems to have no issue with these practices as evidenced by continuing to allow this Host on their service. Due to this, I felt it reasonable to receive a refund for the stay; however, neither the Host, nor the service I used to reserve this room would refund me for this misrepresentations.
