Stayed over Christmas. Well, sort of. There was never anyone at the desk so we checked ourselves in which was fine, but when our AC broke and would only blow heat and we came back on Dec 23 to an apt/room that was over 100* and had no way to get anything fixed, it was pretty quickly nightmarish. We traveled with our dogs, one being an elderly English bulldog. We opened the windows as much as we could the night of the 23 to let in as much cool air as we could, left them open all day the 24th, but it was too hot for the dogs to stay there and still too hot to sleep there comfortably so we slept on couches at my family’s house. It was so miserable we weren’t supposed to check out until the 27th but we gave up the day after Christmas and just left and drove overnight back to Louisiana. I considered trying to get a refund but as hard as it was to get ahold of anyone I decided it just wasn't even worth the hassle because i just do not have the time.
It’s unfortunate because the property itself is great. Great rooms, wonderful set up for traveling with pets, great convenient location. I’d love to stay there every time I visit back home. But the management end of it just made the whole thing a fiasco and I would seriously hesitate before booking again because it was such a mess unfortunately.
