Great location as far as walking to everything in town but very near railroad tracks and were awoken three times during the wee hours by the train's horn. I know Hampton Inn can't help this but it would have made the stay more pleasant if the train could have had a different schedule.

I asked for but was not given a receipt. Property is under going major renovations dirt , dust everywhere. Worker were eating at the breaker bar making the chais

We apologize for the dust, as you stated we are going through renovations and our staff is doing the best we can to mitigate the impact on our guests. The reason you could not receive a receipt was you booked through Expedia and in any third party booking, you receive the receipts from them. Thank you for staying with us and I hope you will come back when we are completely renovated!

Asked for a restaurant list in town- the checknin cletk couldn’t have been less helpful. Handed me s paper said most were closed on Sunday, circled two , one of which was closed. Took a walk in the charming town and found a cute place called Amelia’s Tavern which couldn’t have been more accommodating to a seafood allergy. Does he live here????? And no bottled water st check in. We must have interrupted his afternoon!🙄🙄🙄

This is our second stay at this Hampton Inn and love this hotel. The room was perfect, check in quick and painless, breakfast (included) had plenty of choices- including smoothies! Coffee always available in the lobby. Walking distance to the harbor, many unique restaurants, and the historic district. Plenty of parking (free!). Staff is friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again

Location good. View not good. You could really only see a grain mill and railroad tracks, just a slight glimpse of the ocean. Room was very dusty, on the walls, floors in kitchen and the post on the beds. The toilet backed up on the first use of it, but was ok after that. The pool was nice but they needed to empty the trash outside, which didn't happen the 2 days we were there. The staff was very friendly especially the front desk gals. Pretty good complimentary breakfast and the timing for it was good. Overall it was an OK/Good place to stay.
