The staff at the hotel was great. However we were pretty disappointed in the state of the hotel itself. Our beds were clean, but the room smelled strongly of old smoke and faintly of urine. We had intended to use the pull out couch for our third child but to be honest the couch was gross. There were stains, a bunch of dried up food was in the pull out bed itself, so we obviously didn’t not have her sleep there. I would say the hotel is tired and possibly needs a bit of a Reno. It was less than what we would expect of a typical best western.

The odour in our initial non smoking room was overpowering. Mini fridge was also broken. Front desk moved our room immediately without question. Second room was fine but cobwebs were hanging from the ceiling. Hotel is surrounded by people experiencing Homelessness. Clothes, debris and garbage was strewn around adjoining abondoned properties.

I was looking forward to soaking in the hot tub but the heater and jets were not working and it was just dirty water. The pool was not very warm so I settled for a cold swim. Staff was friendly, parts of the hotel were a bit run down (pool area, workout rooms).

Loved the convenience and the indoor.pool and breakfast. Only problem was that the foldout couch in our room was filthy with food bits in it and no blankets provided for it.

The facility was clean and staff was friendly . The only complaint we had was the indoor pool being so cold and the hot tub was so tiny . Other than that we had a great time
