I was a bit aggravated that, upon check-in, my credit card used to pay on Hotels.com was not on file at the hotel and they had no record of me already paying on the website. Because of this, it took up bit longer for me to get to the room and get ready to go have dinner at the on-site bar and grill. Initially, I let it go because I understand that s#!t happens. However, when I was interrupted from my much needed weekend prolonged slumber at 7:30am on a Saturday, from a front desk phone call, because I needed to verify my card information AGAIN, I was quite displeased! This set my weekend off to an agitated state. After eating a much earlier than planned breakfast, I decided to calm myself with a swim. The pool area was very tranquil and calming. Luckily there was no one else, especially loud children, present. This made for a very peaceful and relaxing swim. The area was designed very well with a drop ceiling instead of concrete, which made the acoustics much better than other hotel indoor pools that I’ve experienced. No annoying, unpleasant constant echoing as with other establishments.
I would, and probably will stay here again. I just hope to not be awoken too early again…
