The hotel was rundown and dirty. No elevator- only metal stairs in the back ( not safe!) and I had to carry my luggage! I just had a knee replacement and I’m 65. I should have been informed of the situation when I made the reservation.

I am not sure where you stayed but it was not with us. We do not have metal stairs and all of our stairs are indoors as are all of our room doors. I am sorry that you experienced this at any property. Hopefully you can stay with us next time and we will be able to give you a wonderful experience. Please always put in the notes that you need a ground level room and this should help with any hotel. We hope you will try us next time. Quality Inn Monteagle

Arrived late to a friendly greeting. I was the only resident that night. Mattress was old and sagging, mildew on the shower curtain. I expected a frig but there was not one.
