The location is great, close to many amenities, and has great beachfront access that is free for guests. Biggest issues we had were poor wifi in the rooms, and even at the pool or on beach. It only really works well in the main lobby. Also they don’t enforce their “don’t reserve pool chair” policy so you have all the people throwing towels on chairs at 8am and then not using the chairs most of the day. Such a waste and very frustrating.

The staff are awesome! The beach is the best. The walkable location to Old Town must sees is perfect. The rooms are very satisfactory. The pool is great. Very much enjoyed my stay for 11 nights. Would definitely consider booking again.

Property is a little run down but the location on the beach is nice. There are signs everywhere saying "not to save pool/beach chairs" but every day chairs were saved with towels so others could not use the chairs. This rule is NOT enforced. As I read in other reviews, often upon check in the room you reserved is not the room you get. In addition, the 'cleaning' fee seems a bit sketchy. We were charged in pesos. 2 other rooms in my group were not charged. Who knows. There was no key to our room safe and we had to wait 3 days to get one. Lastly, I was not able to "change" my date on the reservation to arrive the next day. The hotel refused and said if I did not show up they would keep some of my money and cancel my reservation. I had to switch my flight. On a positive note the staff were amazing.

No Wi-Fi in rooms!! I lead with this, as I probably would’ve chosen a different property had I known this. The website states “free Wi-Fi” but it is ONLY available in the lobby, which is a quite nice area, but this is a critical detail that really should be communicated. Beyond that, the location is perfect. The rooms are adequate, if needing a little tlc and updates. Staff were very friendly. However, I have since learned the owner is very anti-lgbtq. That was not evident in my stay, and I felt very comfortable—but would prefer not to give my money to such individuals. This is my second stay here. I returned for the location, price, and ocean view…but I think I will choose somewhere else next time.

Sea view was gorgeous
We had a room with the seaview and it was a gorgeous view. It was clean although we did have little tiny ants around the bathroom sink. Don't leave without giving them back the wristband or else you get charged 350 pesos. Restaurant was ok but really only nachos as a vegetarian option for lunch/ dinner menu. Breakfast was ok. They only serve coffee til noon and then you can't get anymore. I think I would stay here again. Location was great. It was safe and relatively clean.
