Property, at least when we were accommodated as we’d expected, was excellent. Very disappointed in Expedia for not reserving us the unit we had selected and reserved. Led to unnecessary hardship and tension. The Expedia process as far as Kiahuna is concerned, can’t be trusted.

Property location great with nice access to beach and gym. Consistent with other reviewers, the property is old. They do maintain the lawn grounds very nicely but the furniture inside appartment is dated. Otherwise great stay. If the rate was better, would come again but booked last minute and had limited selection in price of condos.

This property is incredible! We are so happy we made the choice to stay at Kiahuna Plantation. The grounds are beyond beautiful and the beach is one of the best Hawaiian beaches weve stayed on. The small town of Kolao nearby is a quaint little town with lots of shopping and restaurants. Don't hesitate on this property!

This was VERY close to the beach. Excellent views. Only complaints are the bed is a bit firm and the pool is not on the property, it is across the main road. No restaurant on site, but very close walking distance.

Though very spacious and conveniently located for the activities we wanted to do, the unit was a bit run down. The property green space was well kept. Outdoor BBQ was available for use. The view from the master BR and common room / balconies was amazing. Very basic amenities. We did not use the pool facilities located across the road. The carpet in our unit was stained, which wasn't a huge issue. However 4 of the 6 nights we stayed, we removed various sized cockroaches. The other bugs and one cute gecko didn't bother us as we understood we were in a tropical climate (per front desk). They offered to fumigate but we preferred to not have the place sprayed while our family were staying there. We were told they would then fumigate after we checked out. All in all, if we came back, we'd try to book another unit.

Kiahuna Plantation Resort is a fantastic location for beach time. Great restaurants neighboring the property! The ocean view unit we were in was fantastic however definitely needs updating and was not quite as clean as it could have been. We have stayed previously there in an another unit that was cleaner. Next visit we would probably stay at a different resort, as there is no a/c in units.

Nida and Jen were the absolute sweetest people! Cleanest place ever.They treated us like family. We were from Oahu but they knew several of our relatives on Kauai. The welcome package was an unexpected and thoroughly enjoyed surprise! I've already recommended this place to our mainland friends. We will definately be back.
