The advertized pictures shows a front beach hotel which is not true. The hotel does not have a beach, has lots of rocks and does not permit bathing because the dangers! Very disappointing for older folks like us looking for confort, instead have to walk to another location! Really bad, for sure will not come back to this hotel!

On the plus side, the place is clean, almost antiseptically so. It’s like someone dumped a coat of white paint on what I assume from its shape and layout was an old Marriot property. Also, the guy who checked us in was very nice. Our room on the 5th floor had a nice ocean view through a large window that didn’t open. And the hotel was located on the main street in Condado with an easy walk to lots of restaurants. On the negative side is just about anything else. Perhaps it was our lack of understanding, and we thought “Adults Only” and the description provided by Travelocity meant a place where we could find someplace to enjoy quiet moments in the sun. Sadly, that’s not possible at the Condado Ocean Club. The pool and surrounding deck are tiny, and the pool was filled with people all day, standing shoulder to shoulder and drinking while a DJ played music so loud it rattled our fillings. My wife stuck her toe in the water and commented on how warm it was. I replied what with a pool filled with people who had been drinking all day, that wasn’t a surprise. Neither of us joined them in the pool. There was also a surprise at our first breakfast; the bill included a charge of $36 for our two coffees. It seems they charge for each refill and top-off as a fresh cup. When I pointed it out, they dropped the charge to $24, and I figured it wasn’t worth arguing any further. We do owe Travelocity thanks for helping us get a refund when we checked out early.

I appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback with us regarding your stay. We are located oceanfront and invite our guests to enjoy seaside sunbathing. Our direct shoreline is quite rocky, and we recommend that you not swim in these waters. There are several swim-friendly beaches within walking distance. Our beach chairs, towels and umbrellas are available for your enjoyment. Our amenities includes GYM, Pool, room service, SOCIAL restaurant (breakfast, lunch, dinner, Sunday Brunch), The Deck Bar, Cabanas just to mention a few. Our security deposit of $100.00 per night is clearly stated on your confirmation letter prior booking and it’s a common practice in hotels all over the world. If no charges have been made to the room, this authorization will be fully refunded at check-out. I do hope you will come visit us again in the future.

Staff were friendly. Room was small for 2 people. Bathroom fan didnt work. No refrigerator or good coffee in lobby. Food at restaurant was over-priced. Music at pool in AM was fine, but later in afternoon became loud and techno...not good for relaxing.

Very disappointed with the hotel. Room maintenance service needs to be improved, to include emptying the trash, making the bed, and providing more than one towel per guest, and only providing the one towel when asked. They also need to think about having some kind of answering service, because calling to speak to someone will require several attempts.

I enjoyed how helpful and friendly the staff was and how beautiful the property was maintained, the room was clean besides finding hair in my bed the first night I arrived and trying to find the maintenance man was a hassle but overall really enjoyed my stay and would come back
