The property is nothing like the pictures. Very dated and smelly. We had visited the property when new and the pics were probably taken then but a decade plus later it's under new management and its a dump with a great view of the beach... Checked out after one day and was charged for the entire stay. On checkout I saw the charge and was assured after a long conversation that I would get a refund for the remainder of the stay "in 2-3 weeks". After no refund they now say they aren't going to refund... Shoddy place with shady staff and crooked policies. STAY AWAY

The property does have great views of the ocean. The free guest laundry and kitchen in the rooms are also nice. We chose this property for the kitchen and the gym. We were not notified that the gym was closed before we arrived. We were told that the pool was closed. When we asked the front desk person about our options to find another place to stay that would be more convenient, she kept going back to talk to the manager. The manager would never come out and talk to us. We stayed because we couldn't find another place. At no time were we offered any compensation whatsoever for the inconvenience. We were able to use the gym and pool of a sister property a mile away. Overall the place is ok....just not very hospitable.

We do thank you for baring with us while we try to get the pool and fitness center back up in working order. We hope that you give us another chance in the future.

Air conditioner didn’t work when we checked in. We asked to get it repaired and they said somebody would be right up, nobody ever showed. We asked again in the afternoon and somebody did come up but just said the fans we’re working and they would call a technician. We stayed two days, never seen the technician that was supposed to come. Talked to the manager at checkout and was told there was nothing they could do to help us out since we booked through Travelocity. We stayed here for two nights in a two bedroom Suite and paid over 2k to be there. We certainly expected a cool room to go back to but I guess nobody else felt it was very important. Very disappointed to say the least.

The property is located right on the Boardwalk, very close to highway, east to locate and walkable to many restaurants, shops, and amusement. The view of the beach is amazing high floors are see the dolphins easily with beautiful sunrise and sunset. The room we had this time 1102 could use some bathtub fresh caulking, the black mold was visible, the water doesn’t drain fast and properly while in the shower. The bedroom mattress felt like cardboard with a thin layer of 2 centimeters of cushion. The amount of space is very easy to move about in the one bedroom suite. The televisions are small and older model serves the purpose but expectations are higher for “resort price”. The pool area appeared outdated. The maintenance staff seemed unhappy which reflects either dislike for job or how they maybe treated by upper management. Bonuses are helpful especially to show more appreciation for them. The parking garage is small but serves it purpose. The overall price and fees aren’t worth the value.

Everyone was very friendly and accommodating! The suite that we were in was amazing. This is definitely somewhere I will keep on my list to stay next time we’re in Virginia Beach. The only thing is they’re under renovations but that didn’t bother me because I know good things are coming. The toilet in the suite was very loose off the floor. Probably due to some of the renovations but they said they would take look into it and take care of it immediately. Inconsequential To the quality of our stay.
