The room upon check in had not been cleaned. There were wet towels in the floor, beer cans and food sitting on the desk and the bathroom had been used and the toilet wasn’t flushed. We did receive a new room, but it wasn’t clean either.

Property and room not as clean as expected. The bathroom hadn't been swept and carpets were stained. Breakfast area was also messy and not busy at the time.

Customer service was good while checking in. I was unhappy that electric was out for almost 1hr 30min and unsure why. Phone couldnt be charged. Room became got and stuffy during period. No apologies for inconveniences.

I am so sorry about the power outage. We did find that lightening hit a power source and caused over 100,000 people to be without power for up to 6 hours. Unfortunately those instances we can't control. Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience and hope to see you back again soon.

At 9AM they run out of 50% of the breakfast stuff. So, not more tougher, fruit,.... But, the price was still the same. That is not fair. If you are not giving what you are selling, you should compensate your guest.

The hotel was nice and the Staff was friendly

Pros: Free breakfast, Free Internet
The hotel was nice and the staff was friendly. My room key (card) somehow lost the room code. The staff apologized and reset my key after verifying I was staying there of course. They did not have to apologize in my estimation but I still appreciated the gesture. The Bed which will be different for some people was only semi comfortable for me. I am used to a softer mattress so I did not fall asleep right away. Other than that I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel.

Perfect Stay!

We stayed 2 days at Hampton Inn. The front desk was very courteous. The room was spotless. There were people staying on both sides of us but we never heard them. The room was very quiet. The breakfast had waffles,sausage,biscuits one day and then eggs, summer sausage and biscuits the next, along with pastries,danishes etc. The entire horel was very clean including the pool. It is easy to get in and out of since they have there own red light across from FedEx World HQ. The neighborhood is very upscale so we were pleasantly surprised by the room rate. We highly recommend this hotel

Perfect experience!

Definitely a business hotel -- but we were there on baseball business, so it was all good! The hotel staff went "beyond the call" and were very helpful when one of our party got ill. The beds were amazing! Pool was clean! Breakfast was acceptable! The location was near good food and shopping! And not too far away from downtown!

REFRESHING EXPERIENCE

We have stayed at several hotels in Memphis. Though this was not the greatest it was very near it. Perfect for families looking for friendly staff, clean rooms, and a safe stay in an otherwise not so safe city. Only regret is that the room was just a little small and had no fridge. Overall, I would definately recommend.
