Property is under renovation. Our room had been updated and was nice. Bed is comfortable… so some may need extra pillows but we could take from our extra bed. Check in was smooth and all employees we encountered were friendly and attentive. Easy highway access. The neighborhood is a little rough but we ordered in and that went great.

Infestation
I’ve stayed at this property in the past, and I had zero complaints. However, during the most recent stay I noticed a roach on the vanity. I really didn’t make a big deal of it then. It wasn’t until I left out for dinner and returned only to walk into what I would could consider an infestation. I called the office and sadly was informed that I would have to endure until the morning when maintenance was there to spray. I’m sorry but I did not sleep well knowing that roaches were crawling over my room! I guess I missed the maintenance visit the next morning; after being up all night because when I went to the front desk about the issue, she shared that roaches had been a problem before but they had sprayed. When I asked to be compensated she kindly declined and told me that she would have to speak with the owner. I’m STILL waiting on a credit.

Staff were nice, room was clean, but breakfast was lacking. Only hot item was waffles, wasn’t worth going to it in the morning. The hotel was close to everything, within 10-15 minutes of French Quarter.
