Crummy place, filthy food areas.

Pros: Liked nothing.
Cons: Full renovation, clean food service, sincerity.
Bad experience from start to finish. Wrong room assigned us, had to move to requested 2 bed room. Dinner choice was the bar. Grossly filthy, dark and server put fingers in the food. Breakfast buffet in dining room wasn't fresh. My coffee cup was chipped. Rugs were spotted worn and torn many places , furniture and woodwork chipped. No luggage help. Linens were very clean or we would have left. Bed not firm.

Good for early morning flights

Great of lace to stay for early morning flights from LaGuardia. Easy walk to Terminal C from the hotel if there are traffic issues impacting their shuttle time Food at night in the bar is fair. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were all very friendly

Comfy bed

Nice hotel.  Good size room.  Small bathroom.  Close to public transportation into Manhattan.

Could have been better

Staff left me waiting in 100 degree heat index for a shuttle pickup for too long. I had to call twice to get picked up. Restaurant is closed at night and you can only eat in the bar. Service was very slow.

This hotel is a good choice but does not handle/address problems quickly and efficiently. Also, the desk clerks seem confused about the parking issue

Pros: Quiet
Cons: No free Internet
I have stayed at this hotel on more than five occasions. The first three times I had no problems other than I was not given a parking card on the first visit. On only one visit has the desk clerk appropriately given me a parking card upon check-in. I am considering whether to return or seek other lodgings based on major problems during my last two visits. First, the television did not work and the clerk was reluctant to switch rooms upon my arrival. Second, the heat was not operating because the "heat coil" was off. The desk clerk was less than apologetic although the temperature was below forty degrees outside and I was forced to wear a jacket until the maintenance department was called to switch on the "heat coil." He did also bring a space heater to speed the warming of the room.

Hotel looked very up to date and staff made me feel welcome.

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet, very close to laguardia airport
The staff were very friendly, especially the in house restaurant were I had breakfast. Food portions were large. LaGuardia Airport is so close you can almost walk to it. Hotel Shuttle is every 15 min.

This hotel felt safe and clean.

Pros: Quiet
This was a comfortable hotel-I had 6 pillows on my bed! It was clean and well kept. I really appreciated the hotel staff helping to get to New York City by bus and subway. I even purchased a metro pass at the desk. It was more expensive than some of the hotels in that area, but seemed worth it. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it.

Very comfortable, clean and enjoyable. Will stay here again!

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet, comfortable mattress & sheets
We enjoyed a very pleasant stay while visiting New York City and friends in the area. Recent renovations were obvious and rooms were very clean and comfortable. We rested as well as in our own home. Very close to LGA. Amenities were good. Lobby, restaurant, bar and conference spaces were also very nice. Absolutely no complaints and we will stay here again.
