It is a bad neighborhood. Did not know it was self checkin and did not receive the door code. Got stranded without being able to check in at night-time and had to move to a different hotel.

My stay was amazing. The place was nice and organized and well-equipped with air-conditioning and TV streaming that made the stay very comforting. Clean room with great in-room security
I traveled solo for a work trip and found that the space was perfect for a single person. The room was exceptionally clean and functional for one person for a 3-night stay. The owner was also very responsive when I requested an early check-in (which was SO helpful given the timing of my work conference) and when I asked for help resolving an air conditioning issue. The only "negative" is that the hotel is located in an area that didn't feel totally safe for a solo female traveler. However, this is beyond the hotel's control, and I can tell that they made MANY efforts to ensure the security of their guests upon check in (e.g., multiple locked entryway doors and very secure personal room entry system). Overall, this was a great experience!

Anyone who decides to book this one should not forget to make security deposit. I skipped this part which caused inconvenience in smoothly checking in the place. The facility is clean and newly remodeled, and is like a little studio which has kitchen facilities, good for a young couple who like modern-looking, fashionable place. For those who like to make food, this facility can be a plus. However, for someone like me who attended a conference at the Convention Center, I would recommend staying a little closer to downtown, as it is not within walking distance and you need to take lyft or uber cars, which are easy to arrange but take 5 minutes to hop on a car and another 10 minutes to get to downtown locations.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!
Do not stay here - they do not abide by Hotels.com policy and ask for an additional "security depost" to be paid outside of the Hotels.com app. When you refuse they will not refund the stay. There is no live person or virtual assistant - only a digital door control that you need a password to access your room. The neighborhood is covered in trash and NOT safe. Parking is in a vacant lot where a building used to be at the end of the block. I wish I had read other reviews before I booked - at least I didn't pay the additional "security depost" so I am only out $280 instead of $480!
