Hi Alicia, as the new property manager this is something I want to insure you I take serious. As you may be aware looks can be deceiving when our guest arrives we will refuse individuals whom are under the influence of any substances. It's a challenge however someone checks in and their guest is not on our radar as an issue. But please be assured once we are made aware of a situation or a problem guest they are asked to vacant our property and placed on our NO RENT LIST.

When i first arrived i drove around the property and there was a pool which it looked like transient people were living there. The girl at the front desk was not rude but handled me as if she could not care is i was there or not. the front lobby had a smell and the rug was at least 20 years old. the theme continued when i arrived at my hallway with dirt in the corners. When i entered my room, room 107, which was a non smoking room my bed spread had burn marks in it and a stain as if from nail polish. the furniture was very old and looked like it was from a yard sale. the final straw was when i went into the bathroom and there were a lot of small flying bugs which appeared like they were young flies. As you can imagine my dis-pleasure i checked right back out and stayed at another Hotel.

The worst Motel stay ever!

Pros: Location
Cons: Needs to be cleaned, very smelly. Needs Security 24/7. Needs more of the basic amenities that are missing. Staff needs training on customer service
My family and I stayed at this Hotel (when it was a owned by a different hotel company) and had a pleasant stay years ago. Now that Motel 6 took over, this hotel was nasty and gross. All the amenities that you would expect from a hotel were not included. Here is a list of problems: *No Iron/Iron Board *No Alarm Clock *Had to ask for bath towels/only had wash cloths and hand towels *Bath tub very dirty *No tissues *Ashes in ice bucket in a non-smoking room *not a safe place for a family with suspect people walking around doing drugs. *could not enjoy the pool with loud profanity music being blasted. *this hotel needs security *smell of ashes and weed We checked in from Saturday-Thursday, but we left Sunday morning, because we didn't want to stay another night. Never staying here again.

Overnight stay

The staff was very pleasant and efficient as I booked online. We were told to enter on the side closer to our room. I was concerned that the side door didn't lock. Normally for safety, one needs to use there access key to open the doors. We were able to pull and open the door. At first I thought the door must not have been properly closed. I double checked the side door when my children and I were still outside. I closed the door while standing outside and was able to pull and it just opened. We slept with all locks just in case. This arlarmed me but this stay was for emergency reasons and we had no where else to go.

Motel 6 - Reputation deserved.

I had to change rooms after the first night because I woke up to a huge waterbug hanging out on the ceiling right over my head board. When I tried to call the front desk, the phone didn't work. The fridge was not cold because of ice build up in the freezer. The fridge in the second room was even worse. There was so much ice build up in the freezer, that the door wouldn't close. The overall cleanliness of the bathrooms were questionable. I will not stay at a Motel 6 again.
