Very nice location downtown so that you can see the outline of the city. Great place to be if you are visiting the Spectrum center. The breakfast bar very disappointing. The eggs were very watery and looked like they had green onion chives in them. Another item looked like mixed vegetables and sausage. Nothing was labeled so that you see what it was. There was no terrace on the tenth floor so that you can go out on. you have to downstairs, exit the building in midst of a lot of traffic. Parking is $28.00 per night and not $20.00 as sold online. As for the room you could not ask for it to be any better. Very comfortable. Great view of the city night line. Very clean and very fresh. I would stay again.

If you want a view of downtown, this is it. Since it is separate from much of downtown by 2-3 blocks, you get a better view of the area. Go to the rooftop restaurant and walk around outside or go for a swim (in the summer... pool is tiny and not heated). 5-7 minute walk to Spectrum Center, and maybe 20 minutes to football stadium.

I was very disappointed that no one informed me at check-in that there is a $28 charge for parking which is outrageous since, had I known, I could have parked across the street for $10. I do not appreciate the surprise charges when the room itself was very expensive. BAD VALUE! Looks like we're back to AirBNB.

We do have it listed on all websites, however I can understand how it can be easy to overlook. Due to our urban location, The Hyatt Place Charlotte Downtown, and majority of other city center hotels do not own parking on site. We do pride ourselves on being one of the lower cost parking properties that also provided unlimited in and out privileges. We hope that you will stay with us again on a future trip to Charlotte!

The rooftop pool Is small But excellent and an added bonus to downtown staying. It’s a great location and the staff was amazing. If I go back to Charlotte I would definitely stay here.
