Nestled within the serene Mill Ridge Community, this charming home invites up to eight guests to experience the beauty of nature firsthand. Step outside to discover a delightful outdoor living space, complete with Watauga River frontage, a stone patio adorned with a fire pit (please note, wood is not provided), a gas grill, and a welcoming porch swing beckoning you to relax and soak in the peaceful ambiance. Inside, the quaint two-story home welcomes you with an open living and dining area, featuring gas logs to warm your evenings and create a cozy atmosphere. The well-appointed kitchen, complete with an island, invites guests to prepare and share meals with loved ones. On the main level, a bedroom awaits with full-size bunk beds and a twin trundle, accompanied by a full-size bath with a convenient shower. Ascend to the upper level to find two additional bedrooms, each boasting queen-size beds for restful nights of slumber. A full bath with a tiled shower completes this level, offering comfort and convenience for all guests. Whether you're roasting marshmallows around the fire pit, grilling up a delicious meal, or simply swaying gently on the porch swing as you listen to the soothing sounds of the river, Rivers Edge promises a tranquil retreat where cherished memories are made amidst the beauty of nature.

Location: Located in Mill Ridge, off of Hwy 105S, in the Foscoe Area and centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University. If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. The house was not stocked with regular things you’d expect, such as firewood, shampoo, soap, etc. Vrbo are supposed to have everything you need- it definitely didn’t. Shame.

Perfect place for us
We stayed 3 nights while visiting our son who attends App in Boone. The location was convenient to Boone and surrounding areas. I’m not very fond of having to do everything on the internet but the reservation, check in, and check out were really simple even for me. The property is wonderful. Loved the outside areas, deck, patio and porch. The house was clean and comfortable. We were very pleased with our stay and intend to stay there again in the future.
