The staff was wonderful. The room was what was expected. The outside grounds was disgusting though. Poop everywhere. I tried taking my puppy out to the bathroom but there was poop in just about every inch of the grounds. Sad pet owners do not pick up after their animals even when bags and a can are provided. I know it’sa hard time with short staff but maybe hire someone to clean up the grounds.

The heated indoor pool was a hit with the kids. We definitely enjoyed the breakfast at 435 grill. It was delicious. Pancakes were fluffy and the food was flavorful. I’d want to come back just for the food. Only weird thing about the hotel is the ability to see in everyone’s room from the lobby if the curtains were open. Would be nice if they were tinted so you can see out but people couldn’t see in.

Thank you for staying with us! I am so glad your family enjoyed the pool and the food. I will pass on your comments to the chef. The rooms with the atrium view are very polarizing - some people love them (especially kids), some people hate them. We are currently remodeling the first two floors and so the new curtains had not gone in yet when you were here. The sheers block what little view there is into the rooms but still allow light.

I didn't like that my fiance got coupons for breakfast on Saturday and I was very ill and unable to eat breakfast but on Sunday there was a bill for $20.00 for 2 breakfast. When we checked out I explained about the coupons and the fact that I did not eat because I got sick and the clerk advised he could not refund my credit card. I believe $10.00 is a little much for cereal, etc..but especially when not having any food to be told you can't get a refund.

$25 credit card required for check-in for "incidentals" at check-in even though Travelocity states this charge is at check-out, not checking-in. $100 is required if you use cash instead of card. My card was declined, not for lack of funds, but issues with my bank. We only had $25 cash on-hand and had to drive out of our way to the bank to correct the issue. Not the hotel's fault for the card issue, but they were not understanding or helpful at all. Particularly given that we already paid over $100 dollars for the room and ended up having no charges on check-out anyway.
