This does not have the Hyatt quality we expected. Room was lovely, however we had days with no hot water and rain shower only worked a couple of times. Mini fridge only restocked after call to management. Coffee bar in room was never cleaned or restocked. Floors, counters and nightstands never wiped down. The hotel bars had friendly staff, but ran out of beer and drinks were watered down. Food choices were very limited. Couple of restaurants never opened. Nightly entertainment was nonexistent or ended at 10pm. The preferred bar, had cold food, that sat in warmers all day. Pool table needs to be replaced. Spend your money on less expensive resorts. Only positive is great beach that was kept clean.

Dear Tonya,we appreciate the time you have taken on sharing your comments with us through this platform. maybe you do not notice the Hyatt quality beacause we recently joined them and we are on our way to create Hyatt quality experience, sooner will be able to notice the improvements. that is correct we are just opening two restaurants at night since we have a new chef joining our team and we are re-accommodating the F&B deparment in oder to bring our guests a better quality of food and drinks, we will be able to notice the improvements in the following weeks. the desires club are open from 9pm to 1am for a late night entertainment. we are so glad that you enjoyed our beach and all its surroundings. we again thank you for all your comments and we apologize for the shortcomings, this will help us to know our weaknesses and turn them into stregnths. cordially regards,

Our stay at Secrets was really great. The staff is all super friendly and the entire place is just set up for you to relax and enjoy. There are plenty of food options and so we never were bored of eating the same thing. I can't think of any "bad" meals we had here at all. I am excited to schedule my next trip back to this property!

This was by far one of the worse resorts I have ever visited. We vacationed at secrets resorts in other countries and had a fantastic time. Cozumel was the complete opposite. The property is falling apart, and we had our room switched 3 times only to have the final room be just as bad. Customer service is extremely poor and unresponsive. The quality of the food was terrible and often arrived old and stale. STAY AWAY!

Secrets aura was an enjoyable experience. Resort is older and needs to be on top of maintenance issues. We renewed our vows there and staff was fantastic for this.

Property was pretty, and my room was nice. Several dining choices, but the food was not very good. We did like the breakfast that you receive as a preferred guest. As preferred guest, the advertisement says you have nicer balcony furniture with lounge chairs. This is not true. Same small table and chairs as the others. I was also not aware that I would have to walk up three flights of stairs in preferred. There were not enough of the preferred lounge chairs on the beach. Preferred pool bar closed much earlier than the other one and was not as nice; however, the drinks were better. They didn't have many activities scheduled. I know it has been hard to get staff everywhere, so not sure if that was the reason.
